I finished building this garage last year. I had a plan in my mind of what I wanted and went to work. 12' ceiling, 36 wide by 32 deep. I have friends that tell me I didn't make it big enough... My reply is, "it's big enough for me to get my shit done but not big enough to store your junk".

I am truly blessed to see a dream like this come through.

We welcome you here with open arms :) nowhere near those taxes, but you might want to pick up a handgun on the way in!

it was " still " ( dont tell the wife ) my dream to come to America. i got a license in my country for 9mm and .308 ( it takes you about 1.5 year - 30 lessons- a exam at the shooting range - background check - physcologie check- and 2 home visits from the local police to check if you have a safe ....and then you are a " aspirant member " and may purchase a .22 :p ......a year later ...the same process continu...only there is no exam...and then you may buy a 9mm...etc..etc )

Wow! That is one hell of a process - I bet it discourages a lot of people from owning them. Maybe once this virus stuff blows over you can come out for a while! I know a lot of the guys on here would love to see ya at Moab!

I lived in Germany for 6 years and on my second tour of duty there I worked with contractors from the NL. I was in a NATO unit and had 29 communication sights all over Germany that we had to do yearly maintenance on. A company from the NL got the contract. It was a lot of fun between my limited German & their limited technical English getting things figured out. By the end of my 3 years working with them we could carry on a conversation that went from English to Dutch to German without us even noticing. I got to take a few trips thru the NL and had a great time.

I lived about 35 minutes from you in Mol, BE from 2015-17. My garage there was HUGE with tiled floors and it was heated. I did live out in the country compared to you though.

I know the city Mol..it is just over the belgium / NL border. I know a lot dutch people moved to Mol and nearby towns just because of the tax rate and bigger houses and more space you will get in Belgium for the same price.
