How many bumpers have you been through?

I'm on my first set of aftermarket bumpers. They were inexpensive, somebody was upgrading to the latest greatest. Got a set of Rokmen control arms recently the same way, somebody was going a new direction with their build. A bit like how I got my LJ. Somebody got tired after three years and upgraded to the latest greatest. Works great for Jeeps and parts but I don't want your wife when she gets heavy and you want the pretty new lightweight one.

It's the Ultra High Clearance Aluminum. I had to buy the hoop separately and drill an extra hole to mount it and the hooks. It looks a lot like the steel version you have, but has a few differences.

When I first bought the Jeep used, the stock front bumper was mangled on one side. Still running the original stock rear bumper as it’s lightweight and tucked up nicely and I rarely hit it on anything.

Hind sight, I wished I would have gone this route. I saw they had a plate, for doing this, but wasn't sure how it would work out.

I bought this hoop from UCF.

I had to drill another hole in the bumper in order to mount it, but it fits nicely.
It is a bit narrow though. Narrower than the hoop spacing on the steel version.
It fits my Warn M8000 perfectly, but it might be tight on a larger winch.

The build quality is pretty solid, however it sticks out more than I want - so that will be coming off for some type of undecided plate bumper + frame tuck.

I'm heading in the same direction. So far, I'm looking at the Swag bumper @DuncLJ mentioned, GenRight, or Savvy's rear bumper, in that order. The Savvy bumper would be my top choice, but I need to see how well the aluminum ends would hold up. My current UCF aluminum bumper ends are constantly getting bent. I can easily fix this issue, bending them back, but I'd like to eliminate this work. On the plus side, the welds have held up amazingly well!

Keeping paint on my current rear bumper is a problem. On the plus side, it's aluminum!

That was exactly the issue I had with this hoop! My Superwinch hit the hoop and it was so tight I couldn't even get a cover past it. In fact, I watched one cover blow past me on the highway!

The Superwinch is almost 2.5" wider than my Warn, so I could see how that would be a problem.

How does that tire carrier not rattle? Love everything about it, especially the part that it swings with the tailgate door just cant see how it wouldn’t rattle like hell.

Any way I could bug you for pics on how it works?

I know someone who might buy your current rear bumper... 👋 lol

front went from: rockhard 4x4 full width > mopar rock crawler

rear went from stock to a LoD signature series, which will eventually be replaced but I haven't made up my mind yet. although i'm leaning hanson?

"Use with our optional frame tie in’s for a total of 16 mounting points to your Jeep’s frame!"

I'm guessing this would pull the cross member off! 😲

Mine ended up with 18 mounting points! :)
