Should I re-use the stock track bar with Currie 4" lift?

I'm nearly done with the suspension and just realized the kit has me reusing the rear track bar. I already installed the relocation bracket. Is it ok to reuse this or should I be ordering a new track bar?

You can reuse the stock track bar with the bracket or order a Currie rear track bar, either works.

Since with a 4" lift you should also install a SYE into the tcase and an aftermarket CV driveshaft, I'd install both an angled track bar mount and an adjustable length track bar. I'd go with Currie's, JKS would be my distant-2nd place choice.

You need an angled track bar mount with a CV driveshaft to compensate for the mounting bracket's angle change when raising the pinion angle for the CV driveshaft. Then with that you'd play hell getting the factory track bar to bolt into the mount even if it relocated it over enough. You spent the $$$ for the Currie lift, I'd do the rest of it right too.

I do have a Rubicon. I just sanded and painted the stock track bar to reuse. Once I get her back on all 4 wheels I'll be completing a Savvy tummy tuck then ordering a new drive shaft.

I'm a little hazy on the details, but I do not believe you will be able to keep the stock trackbar with the Savvy TT and 4" lift. I ran my Currie 4" with 3" springs and a stock trackbar for many years (just used the included relocation bracket). When I installed the TT, the stock rear track bar went away in favor of a JKS bar. If I remember correctly, the increased pinion angle made it so I could not use the stock bar.

I should've sprung for the Currie instead of the JKS since the Currie allows for more clearance from the gas tank. I'm also still only on 3" of spring lift + the Savvy TT, so I'm not sure the JKS would work without bending if you are running 4" of spring lift + the Savvy TT.

I can't see the stock bar working well after a 4" spring. And most certainly not after a Savvy skid.

nothing wrong with that bar, but if you're looking to spend a little less, the JKS one is perfectly fine. I have a currie in the front and a JKS in the rear, simply because the currie rear bar is so dang expensive.
Currie has different bends than JKS. I've seen where it fits better around the gas tank, especially after raising the skid.
