My TK Build

Can't wait to hear how the stroker holds up, this is one direction I'd love to go someday vs a full V8 engine swap - it seems like it's got enough power!

I shouldn't have too many problems with longevity judging from what Chad says about his client's experiences like this New Zealand guy whos had a 4.6 in his TJ for over 8 years.

I like your description - It does have "enough power" just like you have said. I could have gone with a higher HP vertion but Chad advised me that he had tried almost everything and his solution is a good compromise between what can be done to extract more HP without substantially compromising reliability for the long run.

Refurbished Custom Side Steps/rock sliders

Twenty odd years ago I bought a set of "Custom Side Steps" from an independent fabricator but he was out of stock at the time so he made up
set while I was there, however, he got one of the jigs in back the front so one tilts down a little more than the other and I never ended up getting them changed over. I had to paint them myself, at the time I just used some crap auto paint and then went about scraping and bashing them within inches of their life ever since...

These days I've been trying to do less extreme wheeling and just keep to the moderate tracks while I try and restore her as much as my budget will allow.

I had a friend strip and powder coat them but misunderstood my description, - I wanted them in semi gloss to suit the ARB rear bar and I got full gloss. Anyway, at first I didn't like them in gloss and I was worried they would be too slippery but after using them for awhile now I really like them and there not at all slippery. They are quite practical because they offer awesome protection and stop all the debris from flying up the side which keeps most of the mud away from the soft top.
