I know everyone has a favorite brand of everything, what about plug wires for my 04 four banger? NGK?

Avoid any so-called low-resistance "high performance" wiring, stick with OEM ignition wiring if you can find it. Low resistance sounds good but in reality you don't want that where the ignition wiring is concerned.

Resistance is added purposely at extra cost to the ignition wires to eliminate RFI (radio frequency interference) which can cause problems for the computer as well as the AM radio and CB radio.

The added resistance does NOT significantly reduce the voltage at the spark plugs. That is because there is so little current (amperes) in the ignition wiring that there is very little voltage drop caused by the added resistance. E=IR and all that. The voltage provided to the plugs is made so much higher than what is needed for reliable ignition that the insignificant voltage drop caused by the extra resistance added to the wiring is literally a non-issue.

I found mopar wires at the dealership. They were pretty affordable too from what I remember (4 years ago).

I threw the Napa Belden or something like that brand on my 4-banger a few months back and haven't had any issues or noticed anything different about them, but I can't speak to how they'd perform compared to any other brands. My Mopar OE wires were cracking and had exposed wire so I just wanted to change them out asap haha.

I put NGK on mine a year ago, 30k. Not a single issue in hot, deep freeze or wet weather. Less then twenty bucks.

And the blue looks nice.

When I redid the entire ignition system on my 99 I think I used ac delco. They were red and they worked.

I bought these because they where blue like my jeep ( dumb reason ) but NGK is a good brand , they are new and I thought they would look good LOL ! New plugs and cap too to freshen everything up.

now we need to find someone with white wires for the 4th 🇺🇸

My jeep is black, the ignition wires are the only thing that's blue. "Unless you wanna count wire traces buried in the harness"

I get it. I run Accel coil packs on the Hemi - the main reason is because they are yellow…

Not a fan of NGK and many other similar brands whose brass clips pull off the wire too easily when you pull a boot. Even if you use a dielectric grease and a special boot puller. My current set is BWD (CH7474D for the 2.5) which are gray and look a little better so we'll see. But being $20 or less, I don't have high hopes come plug change. No problem with NGK plugs tho.
