No.So I know this has been broached before in another thread, but we never got a straight answer, have any of you that park your Jeeps outside had problems with the extra water that gets into the engine bay?

Nibblers would do a better job, they cut With a punch and die taking little crescent shaped bites that will somehow find there way into the soles of your shoes and your carpet. It’s the tool of choice for cutting metal roofing. I have one for sheet metal and another for gauge metal. That’s what I planned to use. I have heard of nibblers though and have space for more tools.
Fixed that statement for accuracy.Just check out some Shittybilt stuff or cheap LED lights, look at the finish after a couple of years.
The logo not a big deal
I used a dremel from the back side and followed the cutout that was in the hood. I cut out just a little too much so used some RTV to hold it in place (again on the under side).@rasband what did you do for mounting the windshield spray nozzle? I see no mention of it in the directions.
Makes sense. I noticed you used the original washer. I was thinking I’d buy a new generic one for a round hole and try that. Hadn’t considered my dremel.I used a dremel from the back side and followed the cutout that was in the hood. I did the other holes with an ingersoll nibler, that was amazing but it won’t work for the washer hole in the louver.
I’ll see what the auto store has, I can always do it your way.The round generic one is probably easier! It’s just a nozzle, I honestly didn’t even think I could just change that!
Yep, but I went from 32 hail dents to like 5.If you ever blow a power steering or transmission line while driving, hood louvers suck.
Just don’t have issues with your Jeep and you’re goodYep, but I went from 32 hail dents to like 5.
Hood louvers are the least of your problems if that happens. If you ever blow a power steering or transmission line while driving, hood louvers suck.
