My copilot is Talaria, a border/heeler mix who loves riding shotgun with the windows down and the stereo up.

I hear ya man - I have been putting off getting another dog, because it'd have to be another Belgian Malinois or Dutch Shepherd - aka, a HIGH energy and HIGH maintenance animal!

Lately out in the woods, I have had some CLOSE encounters with bear and LARGE cougar, so a big dog would be good to have my back. Especially at night, which is when I have had most of my visitors outside of my tent.

Starting to look more at Akitas - a hound would be nice, but I've seen many of them disappear for good in the sticks when they get in a scent. Just not sure yet.
I do not like what the Americans have done with the Malinosis breed.
Had a European malinois. High energy but not chaotic

We have a new Jeep Dog!!! No name yet. But im hoping for "Danny". As that was my fathers name. And he had two different colored eyes too.

Hes a Border Collie. One of the smartest dogs in the world. Cant wait to start training. Were already working on eye contact and come. And sit. He's only 8 wks old.

Ill try to post a video.

Im jealous...I had one a long long time ago...hoping to get one again in the near future...they are great family dogs

I’ve had big dogs my entire life and loved them. The last 3 were Malamutes (100 lb, 125 lb, and 185 lb and all 3 lived to be over 15) , they loved to ride bit they took up a lot of room. When the last one was about 13 a good friend gave me a Jack Russell puppy to keep him company. I could not be happier, Jack Russell’s think they are a big dog and I can take my dog Dixie anywhere. She is known as Dixie the Jeep Dog for good reason, she loves to ride and wheel.

This is our second Greyhound, Winifred. I love the breed. They're gentle, sweet, lazy and quiet. I don't think she's barked for 2 1/2 years! They're also great travelers, but awkward as hell and need a place to lay down, hence the LJ.

Maine must be a sight to see in the fall...that's a great cat /dog pic.

Always had big dogs and loved them but this lit dog (the only girl that truly loves me) goes with me everywhere.
Of course my tj had to have brown interior (to match my dog)

We have a dachshund, Todd the Weiner Dog, a Huge Pyr and 2 heelers and Tank, he's a Dirt/Pit mix ...I love them all, but the heelers have become my favorite to mess with.
