I live in the N. Georgia mountains and on my way home I lost power and started sputtering on acceleration. Engine light also came on immediately. Looked under the hood and didn't see any noticeable vacuum leaks. Research said possible Throttle Position Sensor. Just need some solid advise as I'm going to tackle this first thing in the morning. Thanks in advance!!

A bad camshaft position sensor can cause the described symptoms. Has your OPDA been replaced? Aftermaket sensors are known to have issues.

dont disconnect the battery before reading codes. every idiot seems to do that, to clear the codes then when they cant figure out whats wrong with it get mad. take it to autozone, advanced or oreillys they will do it for you

turn the ignition key 3x without it cranking... after the third attempt all the codes will read on your gauge cluster.

I have to research that. New to the jeep life. I guess youtube will be my best bet.
There's more than enough info on here to get you all fixed up. Step #1 is to figure out what your TJ is trying to tell you via the CEL. Chain stores will read them for free, or you can go there & grab a cheap code reader & do it yourself. They're handy to have. Post up the code(s) you read or search them & I guarantee you'll get a good path forward.

from the post on here you need napa p/n CSS1159. seems the cheaper ones from autozone and other stores are a problem. don't know where the napa is in blairsville,, but kay's in blue ridge is really good
