Would this be a good daily driver or not?

I was wondering if daily driving a Manual Jeep Tj with a 2.5 L4 Ax5, 6in lift, and 35’s would be very fun to daily drive. I might be looking at one that has all those features and didn’t know if I should lower it and put some smaller tires to make it more maneuverable in the city and as a daily driver. What’s your thoughts?

Where in the USA are you located? I could easily daily my TJ.. stock with 31’s... but roads are too salty here in Maryland and I won’t subject my TJ to the salt so it’s a spring-fall rig

If it's geared for 35s and you can live with it, go for it. Personally, I'd lower it and put smaller tires on it because it's a 4 cylinder. I DD my Rubicon on 35s and use it for my driving job when the weather gets too bad for my AWD car. I wash the road salt off when the weather clears.

What size lift and tires would you go with. That would allow me to feel comfortable on highway and with not having to much lean in turning. Also is there any issues that are common with the 4cylinder.

Max? A 2 inch spring. Even then you may find the need for a 32” tire to fill the fender well. 1 inch spring from H&R will do you well with 31’s.
1 inch spring?
I'd do nothing and just run 31's if thats the issue.

If he wants to have a good off road experience in addition to driving daily...
2.5" and 31's are perfect. Suspension works better than oem.

How far would you drive it on a daily basis? What kind of road would you travel on, and in what kind of traffic? As an example, I drove my manual Jeep (on 31" tires) 24 miles each way, in heavy traffic and it absolutely sucked. If there was no traffic, I would say I loved driving it. Traffic, distance, and road conditions matter more than you think!

I am in Missouri so I have salty icy Road here for some months of the year. But hot in the summer.
I Just drove mine on snow and ice covered roads way out in the country for a few days and 3-5 hours at a time. All stop and go driving. My AWD car couldn't make it up the steep winding hills with all season tires.
