Tool Boxes & Shop Pictures: Post Em Up!

Pretty much how it looks now. I have since gotten a bigger beer/soda fridge.

Works really well for me. The harbor freight second gen toolbox combo is really well-built and has plenty of room for all my tools at the moment. Well mostly. I could always use some more room but I’m happy with my set up.

I still have my old husky toolbox, I’m holding onto that for my son when he gets older.

I wish! One day it seems fairly neat and tidy then I start into something and that's the end of that. Ever notice that things take up more space when they're apart than they do when they're together? One thing for sure is that it will never be spacious. :(
It always amazes me when I do a project how many tools there are to put away when you're done

Other than light testing I just finished up all the main piping last week and need to figure out the remaining equipment connections. Worked well on the table saw test.
Nice shop! I envy the space and miss my basement floor space

What are you using for the main collector machine?

It must have some real power given the dust collection plumbing over the main door

My old SnapOn box bought used in the mid 70’s. Like @PCO6 I keep thinking about a restoration.

A couple of overall views of my 12x17 main work space. I can expand into the rest of the garage if needed.

I shopped around all the basic dust collection units from Delta, Jet ect and wound up using the HF collector. Just about every major component was exactly the same just a different color. Slightly larger HP rating on the HF unit which amazingly has good feedback.

I broke the unit down and mounted the blower separately.

I’m going to derail this thread a bit.
@TJ4Jim check out these mods to the harbor freight collector.

I really want to incorporate a cyclone on my collector but really can’t afford a larger footprint.
Ive thought long and hard about building one of these system
The cost of the filter they use may stop me from directly copying on of the above systems.

Two of my five boxes being moved to my new place. I need a step stool to use the top of the black one.

The basement wood shop is a work in progress.

Latest addition to the shop, a tubing bender. It proved to me that I am getting old.
