Occasionally blows when turning the steering wheel. Does that sound like the clock spring is the culprit? I have an 03, besides the junkyard, where to get one? Link?

I would start there but horn button is part of the airbag assy tho. I punched my horn once in winter and it stuck. Had to take the whole damn thing apart to change it out.. but left the clock spring alone.

Take a look tracing the wire from the horn to the firewall. You may have gotten the wire making contact with the steering shaft occasionally wrapping . This is assuming the horn is on a pos ground harness. This idea is a longshot, but easy to check out.

Well, if you're taking the corners to fast, you may just be frightening your poor TJ and it's just letting out a bit off a yelp!

(Seriously though, almost guarantee it's your clock spring)

I have had this happen to another vehicle not jeep

In looking at clocksprings, for the most part they are running between $95 and $125. I came across this super cheap one on Rock Auto. What do you guys think?
