I went to remove the heater core hoses and couldn't get them off. I don't want to break the outlet they attach to. I am pretty sure these are the original hoses. Any advice on how to get them off with out breaking the plastic on the heater core?

If you're replacing them, you can carefully make a cut going length-wise and barely through the hose where it attaches and then peel it off.

I made a hose pick for stuck hoses that are good enough to reuse. For ones that aren't, I usually use a hose cutter which can also cut plastic tube, pipe and PEX for example. They usually need to be followed up with a razor knife or blade as mentioned above.
