I don't know how I lucked out. I ordered a Twill Trektop NX from Quadratec in March and it arrived without the giant logo. If it had arrived with one, I think I would have found an embroidered cloth USA flag patch that would cover it and use Velcro tape to attach it over the stupid logo.
I like this idea. It's a good backup idea, too, if I try to get it off with a heat gun and fail.

Chemistry major here. Try a solvent (benzene for example), or alcohol (doubt that will work), or acetone. If none of those work it ain't dissolving off. Personally though I would just live with it (actually, WILL live with it. I'm ordering a soft top tomorrow).

Did your twill top end up having a logo on it?
I have no idea, I have yet to receive it. You cant get a hold of them to find the status, the "check your order" system is broke. Ive been told 3 different dates it would be sent and now is JUNE...sometime. Might be the best top on the market, but their supply system sucks.

Mine just got here about an hour ago. Ordered it Friday, so four days ago. Twill also, full package square back. I haven't looked at it yet (I was out mowing the field and I'm kind of beat), but you're right about customer service. I've tried emailing them several times but there's something wrong with the email link. I even tried emailing sales and marketing (those links work) but they don't get back. I have reached them on the phone however. Not easy but possible.

I wonder whether trying to remove it is the best way to get back at them. Instead I would suggest adding to it. Next time there is a big Jeep event just think how much fun it would be to have a whole row of TJs with "BesTop Management Are Stupid Cunts" across the back?

Someone make a sticker that matches the font. Even if it just said sucks after bestop. That would be great.

I just unpackaged my new twill replace-a-top which I ordered two weeks ago directly from Bestop since it was backordered everywhere else. Mine has the logo which is disappointing but not surprising. It is not at all tasteful and definitely takes away from the premium feel. Withholding the logo from the product photos is also mega sucky. The good news is that the twill fabric feels extremely nice and I am looking forward to getting it installed. It will be interesting comparing the noise level to my lj which has a hard top.

SO much frustration with them, I got on their face book page and blasted them, their CS, the ordering system, the logistics system, the lack of parts. I got a call about an hour later and they had a top ready to ship. I went back to their page, and my comment had been removed. I ordered mine back at the beginning of April and hope to have by next Tuesday. Glad you guys to yours quickly. I was told when I ordered mine, they were changing ordering systems and that caused a lot of problems, oh and covid.

You would think they monitor forums like this one and would work hard to keep us happy. Guess not.

Sounds like they are there and able to work, but devoting more of their time to hanging out on FB and putting giant logos on their tops.
 
I tried to take advantage of the 10% discount Bestop offered in April. I sent all the required paperwork mid April. Been waiting for my rebate for my Twill top and upper door sliders. Today I got the notice that the offer limits have been exceeded so NO REBATE TO ME! WTF? They were backordered most of February, March and April. Read the rules.....they can change modify, etc. the program. What shaft job! They advertise the big sale then have the fine print to avoid paying! I AM DONE WITH BESTOP FOR ANY FUTURE PURCHASES! I would expect a lot more from this company..........

That was one of the reasons I ordered in April. The person who helped me yesterday took good care of me as far as the price and shipping are concerned. He tried to ease my pain of the ordeal I went thru. All rules can be changed by the seller at any time for any reason. Sucks, but it is what it is.

My Supertop NX from years ago is tight all around on my 99 TJ to this day. But on our new-to-us LJ, the new Supertop fits like a tarp over a piece of farm equipment. Just an LJ thing?

Seems like Bestop is really phoning it in since they're really the only game in town now when it comes to any top needs for older vehicles.

Mine fit tight, very tight. But I had to clean off all the surface rust spots on the header! Not much quality control here. And the upper door surround knobs were crap compared to the stock Mopar ones on my original top. Door sliders have air leaks all around espcially at the bottom molding on the top of the half door. Very sad for a company that HAD a great reputation.

I filed a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney Generals Office. I don't think you should run a promo, plug in some BS fine print rules to avoid paying after you purchase. I originally ordered from Quadratec in February. They were offering a $150 gift card. Then Quadratec decided to pass the order to Bestop as a direct ship. Bestop had zero inventory. Then in April Bestop told me it would be a few more weeks till they got stock. Meanwhile Quadratec got some stock. I had to cancel the original order, forfeit the gift card, and order again through Quadratec to get the one they had in stock. Bestop was offering the 10% off deal so I figured it was a wash. How do you offer a 10% promo off when you don't have stock? I ordered when they didn't have stock, so how could they have over sold their own promo?
