Hey guys. So it’s been 2 years since I’ve done the install and all of that so I feel like it would be cool to share what I did if anyone is interested for a cool subwoofer for their jeep that works very well with their jeep. But I just want to say I’m very surprised how well this thing performs. As we all know the Tj’s audio system is a bit well, lacking to say the least. My tj never came with a subwoofer. So I was in the market for one. I was looking for something that was small and could fit in the little storage area behind the backseat since I don’t store anything in the back because its too small to really put anything back there in the first place. I then found this https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/rws12ca/
It came in and I was very surprised by how well built the thing actually is. It has a built in 1200 watt amp included too. However the most surprising thing about it is the sound quality. When paired with a good radio that allows you to tune your speakers and sub, you can have a pretty killer audio system. For a slim box, this thing really hits. Trust me when I say that, you will have a headache after a while before you get used to it. I can park my jeep about 30-40 yards away and still hear the bass. I can’t even count how many times a storm passed through and this thing has been poured on and it still works like brand new. Overall I am very surprised by this and I’m happy I purchased it and would recommend it to anyone whose looking for an audio upgrade for their jeep.

Well, yes, by its size I’m sure it puts out some good sound. I have an 8 inch powered sub under the driver seat, and that is more than enough for me.

Do you have that box bolted down, or is theft not an issue in your area?

I have the same one in my single cab ram truck and really like it. I’ve had it for about a year.

My wife is in love with my system. Polk DB’s 5 1/4”, 6 1/2, and a Rockford Fosgate 8” self powered sub, since January 2017. More fun, more sex, need I say more? 😉🤣

Wow. Guess I need to get me some of those!

Searching Amazon as we speak….
All together with a new head unit, it’s not too expensive. With the top off you can turn it up and hear just fine. It’s so fun with the wife. We just jam out and laugh and have a few along the way. Great days!
