How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

I’ve heard good things on that. They were or are being purchased by Traeger now.
My thermometers that I use are built in to my grill or part of the fan controllers. I have an ink bird but haven’t tried it.
Inkbird has been great for me, 3 instant read therms, 2 remote multi probe therms and 2 Sous Vides...all work great.
Hell yeah on that fattie, looks awesome. If you can get some ti-tip-do it, also do some ABT poppers
Going to cold smoke some Himalayan Pink rock salt and peppercorns tomorrow.
I have 2 built in probes on my Camp Chef Smoker. They are accurate and reliable. You just have to be in front of the smoker to read the temps. The Meater let's me fart around the house and anywhere else and still check the temps. I also have a Thermopen that lets me check on small things that won't hold a probe.
Yeah, I have the ink bird sous vide also but haven’t tried it either.
I buy on the Amazon sales of inkbird posts about on smoking meats forums.
yeah they have given me a several free therms and free sous vide and half price one. what is your user name there?

Been reading those, I'll likely try it at some point. Not much different than cream cheese on a jalapeno boat with some BBQ rub sprinkled on top (how I do my poppers)
I do the same, people love those. I am going to cold smoke Himalayan pink rock salt and peppercorns today if I get the time
Sounds awesome. Someday I’ll try the cold smoker on the MAK, leaning towards cheeses though.
Yeah I don't turn the heat on the MES, just use a tube or tray for the smoke. Could probably do the same on the BBQ
The MAK has the warmer/cold smoker box on the side. I can use it while I smoke something in the main chamber.

Guess I shouldn't be too bothered by an 8 week delivery that was quoted 2-4.
All MAK grills OOS on big pappa smokers too.
In looking further, they aren't making the stainless or the 3 star again until next year do to scarcity of material.
it is crazy, I ordered a new hot tub cover on May 5th, site said 10-12 days....it is finally getting delivered tomorrow.

I know a lot of people use those but I don't think I paid any more for my remote 4 thermometer setup that has 4 probes and a remote to view in the house.
