The Original top I put on makes so much noise above 30mph its not fun to drive. I spoke with Quadratec and they thought I got a defective top. They sent me a replacement which is just as bad. So.... i spoke with them again and agreed to pay the extra 300.00 for a replacement Bestop, but they sent another Master Top. Not real happy right now.

Went for a drive yesterday felt like spring had come early. Parked up and had a bite to eat while I watched some people come back from fishing.

@Jerry Bransford - mounted a 5 lb extinguisher the "Jerry way". This pix just shows it being tested for fit - hence the backwards too long mounting bolts. Its now out and disassembled for paint. I'm not sure if this would have worked on my '06 if I didn't have a seat lift installed - but work it does, including full slide forward as well as forward and tilt.

I was also concerned that it would bother my foot position, but I have the seat slid far enough forward that it doesn't seem to be an issue. Thanx Jerry!

Put my Spiderweb on, starting to finally get some hot days here in Alabama.

Got a chance to go to the Durango ,Co area and Moab this week so I needed to push some client projects ahead-this meant driving to my shop in Huntsville multiple times to paint some cabinets for a great client- perfect excuse to drive the Jeep at all hours, which led to being out late tonight with a blood moon that changed to a regular moon eventually.

You know, if you enjoy nature, a Jeep really can make the simplest errands enjoyable experiences.

It was good...Ham, cheese, Pineapple, Eggs , Lettuce, Tomato and mayo....it didn't last long, delicious.

I actually like the no spare look better I think.

Then I started filing the Amazon cart with balljoints, ujoints, front brake lines, unit bearings, and tie rods. Probably just buy a ball joint press too.

I did the same thing about a month ago. Removed the 35" spare and replaced the rear swing out bumper with a Motobilt.
The only issue I have now is my rear suspension sits about 1.5" higher now.

I cant put a table on mine because of the tailgate strut stay open thing I installed!
Just got back from a Darwin trip for my 60th, only wish I had the TJ up there in the tropics but I would have to sell my house to afford the return fuel :) Darwin is amazing, all these years of overseas trips and its all at your doorstep as your pic proves. :)

Thanks. I love the top. It appears to be well made, twill material is really nice. The windows are slightly darker than the bestop.
But... unfortunately it is so damn noisy on the road,
I don't know if it's got to do with the frameless design or not. I have read on other forums that people compain the Bestop Trektop NX is much noisier than their original soft top.
I'm waiting on QT to get back to me. I just want to send these back and get a Bestop RAP.

I really wish Bestop would offer a twill material for the LJ.
