Trip Canceled due to fires :mad:


Ok so I thought I would start a new thread since the Rubicon is closed. Also thought this may get people form the Central Valley interested.


So anyone open to run Red Lake, Coyote, on Wed and Swamp Lake on Thursday and either camp or hotel it ? Or if you have other suggestions I am open to other trails.

While Shaver is on my bucket list I won't be able to make it 😪

No go for me as well. I’ll be in California at that time but will likely just take the comfy wife’s car back if we are not running the Rubicon.

Fordyce/rubicon combo next year seems to be the plan.

Well that blows, but you have to wonder why are we having sooooooooo many fires. Are some of these be started by people on purpose. I sure hope not.

Well maybe another Slick Rock run when thing calm down a bit

From doing a bunch of research into it seems to be poor forest management. lack of controlled burns etc. They just approved a 500 million dollar project to do just this.

Oh wait, I mean global warming is the reason, sorry went off script…
