What did you do to your TJ today?

Wow...big difference. Looks great! What did you use and to prep, did you do anything more than simply wash the covers? I need to do this soon.
Thanks man! I used this paint…

And to prep i just pressure washed the covers and hit them with a quick cleaner. Then let them dry and painted. Super quick process. Most difficult part was fighting the 20 year old zippers.

Excellent. With everything else updated/ fresh, that's the one thing that truly ages the TJ. Just need to quit being lazy and make it happen. 👍

Yesterday I replaced all my hoses. Holy shit getting the clamp on the water pump end of the hose sucked.

Today I did this to my LJ....

Cleaned the house this morning, made some zucchini bread, went out for a quick drive, and made it home before Happy Hour! Not a bad day.

I did this about a week ago. I left them all on the rig, brushed them with a soft brush, vacuumed them, covered my seats and dash and sprayed them with Duplicolor Vinyl and Farbric paint in a rattle can. Crazy easy to do with a huge payoff in aethetics.

I was debating whether i should leave them on or take them off. Then decided to pull them off and clean up the roll bar itself.
Especially after this, my roll bar was the last thing that needed cleaning

This pix should be entered in the ROTM contest! Its even in landscape orientation, which can't be said about several of this month's entries...

Jumped to conclusions and spent a bunch of money to replace what I thought was a faulty steering gear.

Then, I assessed the situation more fully, saw what was actually causing a big leak, and bought a new pump and lines.
Yup, @Irun, it was a definite facepalm situation.

I'm planning a trip this weekend, and noticed a puddle of oil on the floor of my garage yesterday. I looked closer (but not close enough), and saw the pitman arm was covered in fluid and that's where it was visibly dripping from. Since I was buried in work, in a hurry, and needed parts in time to repair before Friday, I ordered a Redhead steering gear with expedited shipping before investigating further. Last night, after wrapping up work, I had time to dig deeper. I saw that it's the pump leaking down the return line and dumping fluid on the pitman arm; there's no issue with my box.
