I’m diggin th NSG six manual!ATfirst it seemed like a truck transmission so to speak but when I first got my LJ I was doin all my shifting in the 2s and now I do it in th 3s and you can almost slam th gears.also, this thing floats like a semi thru th gears.when I’m just regular accelerating I use th clutch only to get off th line but then I just floatem th rest of th way up and you can float down as well as long as your just slowing down gradual like.

I prefer an Ax15 on road and for shifter feel, but the nsg has a far better first gear and the OD ratio in many cases allows for one step higher gearing, which is nice if you have a TJ prone to driveline vibrations.

Dont put Redline MTL in it then or you will be "grinding to find em" even with the clutch :)

I'm not going to Google your foreign language, but mine easily took off in 2nd gear with 33s. I didn't have the mighty 3.07s though. 🤫
My 06 0n 3.07,s is a beast and then I leave everyone behind with thousands of revs left in reserved for changing down and beating them again and again :) lol
Emperors new Cloths = re gearing lol

Taking off in second is a great way to prematurely wear the clutch. Never understood people who do that. "starting in second is just so much easier". The engineers made 1st gear for a reason. *edit* on the street. I can see use of 2nd in low on the trails.

Have you driven that trans with tolerable gearing and 35's? You don't slip the clutch taking off in 2nd on flat ground. So yes, with that one, lots of the time starting in 2nd is a lot easier that needing to shift 20 feet after you take off from a stop.
