Bestop twill top giant logo

Good point. I was worried about sewing through the top.

Oh!! Don't sew anything on your top do what I did and just remove the ugly thing. I used VLR and you can see the pictures of what I used and the solvent does not fade the fabric. I also posted before & after pictures on my very first post of which I should of just posted here. Good luck. :)

YES! Nicely done!

I filed a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney Generals Office. I don't think you should run a promo, plug in some BS fine print rules to avoid paying after you purchase. I originally ordered from Quadratec in February. They were offering a $150 gift card. Then Quadratec decided to pass the order to Bestop as a direct ship. Bestop had zero inventory. Then in April Bestop told me it would be a few more weeks till they got stock. Meanwhile Quadratec got some stock. I had to cancel the original order, forfeit the gift card, and order again through Quadratec to get the one they had in stock. Bestop was offering the 10% off deal so I figured it was a wash. How do you offer a 10% promo off when you don't have stock? I ordered when they didn't have stock, so how could they have over sold their own promo?
Update to this post.....letter today from AG office and included a response from Bestop today. Lots of confusion regarding their rebate company and rebate rules.......I did get the $155 rebate for the top the day after I got the denial for the Upper Sliders. They initially denied the rebate for the Upper Sliders. But as of today their response was basically they are sending me the $63 rebate for the Upper Sliders due to some confusion over the rebate rules. Restores my faith a bit in the company as I had no beef with the product only the company and limited access to customer service.

Minutes ago, I ordered a BesTop ReplaceATop that I expect to have the stupid giant white logo on the back. Have we figured out how to remove it yet?

When we were at the Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion I spoke with a bestop rep. And we talked about the Logo on the tops. He really didn't say one way or another if it was gonna stay or go. To me it's a minor detail and won't sway me from buying Bestop because none of the rest are even close in quality.

My Jeep doesn't have plainly visible logos beyond what it came with from the factory. BesTop isn't going to change that.

this is the best I've found but it could use a better "after" pic:
I just bought a Bestop Supertop Black Twill top and new fiberglass black sliders from Bulldawgmfg.com which are so much better then the thin fabric which can be lifted out (for some reason Bulldawg they calls them doors) which will look great with the new top. At the moment I just removed the huge gaudy Bestop logo from it using VLR (Letter Removing Solvent). Its what print screeners use when they mess up a shirt and does NOT fade the fabric. You can buy it on Amazon or other places on the web for those of you who don't want the huge tramp stamp. Being I had gone to Bestop and they didn't show the logo and are using deceptive photos and along with a store flat out lied to me that the top didn't come with it. well that did it and I took it off and I left a nice lil review which Bestop has left on their site warning others.

I'd post a "Better" after picture but as my Wrangler's been in the shop since September 8th and its on its third engine from Jasper in three years (Cam Shaft went kaput this time UGH!! and thank goodness its still under warranty).
I'll post another when I get it back which due to the shipping problems it may be a while. As to Bestop themselves I'm surprised they haven't been taken to task about their false adverts by posting pictures of tops with no logo on their site then you get a top and surprsie there it is! Left them feedback as to this on their site. Also with their "Buy It Installed" they don't use auto body shops but places like handy man/jack of all trade sites to install. Never again.

I would not hesitate to get a black sharpie marker a hold of that.

I understand branding...But when your product is so good that even the manufacturer chooses to use it ...You’ve already got the edge.

What I hate is that it is big and white against the black fabric. It looks cheap.

Had they printed it black on black with a texture change somewhere less prominent, I wouldn't care as much. Maybe emboss the logo along the edge of the window.

It blows my mind that they did this. I was beyond happy when my new spice top didn’t have it. I’ve seen a few jeeps rolling around with the new logos and they’re awful. I’m wondering if they even did a test sample. It’s so ugly.

I feel exactly the same way- the size, font style, the bright white and especially the placement was not a tasteful combination at all-

Look at Nike, Under Armour, Carhartt, and most every really dominant brand- the trend in logo marketing work for a long time has been to let the logo be a tasteful accent, not a billboard.

Bestop in 1/2” matte taupe letters where the top meets the window above the door, one rear sail or on side rear windows above the tub would be plenty.

What they did is more along along the lines of something a bottom feeder would do in that category- bad call for a company that its’ happy customers do all the advertising they need.

The Bestop sail cloth top that I installed does not have the reflective TrampStamp on the top at rear center above the window as so many forum members are complaining about; mine just has 2.25" x 1.75" clear plastic patch attached to the lower left rear window.

I checked the production date of the top that I purchased in April 2020; production date is July 22, 2019.
There probably would be interest in when this change took place.....

Could forum members check the embossed production date on the side or rear windows (lower left corner) and post their dates of production ?

I have the Super NX top with a production date of Feburary 22, 2021. It does have the logo on the back. Really not an issue for me. Can't see it when I am driving anyway LOL. Windows were a bit wrinkled, and still are. Top fits tight and seems a little bit quieter than the factory one. Replaced all the hardware with the new top. I like the top a lot and very happy with the product so far. Have not used the sunrider feature yet. I replaced the soft door windows with Bestop windows, and also have Bestop sliders for late fall, winter, and early spring here in Minnesota. I only wish they had the black twill in matching door fabric.
