Hello! After being in CA for a few years I finally picked up a Jeep last year and really enjoy all areas of CA now.

I'm a fairly experienced wheeler that prefers moderate trails over snapped axles!
Have explored lots of day rides in the Angeles NF, and camped in Death Valley and Joshua Tree… all with my girl and my Jeep! I don’t have the time commitment for a club, unfortunately, but if you wanna coordinate a chill trip to Death Valley or exploring old mines near Joshua Tree, let me know. We camp if possible but get AirBnB’s if around Joshua Tree since camping there by the north rim is difficult and because they usually have pools!

Hello! And welcome from the 'Nard!

I've been to Death Valley twice on a dual sport bike. I'm looking forward to taking the Jeep there sometime.

HAHA! The NARD! Only a true Nardian would know that. I am actually in the 'nard, specifically by the Rudder Room off of Harbor Blvd. Small world.
Death Valley on a dual sport would be awesome. I sold my XR650L when I moved and switched to a road bike for some damn reason!

Ah, the Gutter Room! I'm over behind another old dive bar, the Sea Rounder. Though, I think it's closed for good.
I sold my Husky TE630 after the last get off. I'm getting too old for crashing. I still ride on the street myself. Won't ever give that up.

I lived not far from the Rudder Room years and years ago (across from Hollywood Beach). Next to the old Whales Tail at the Bahia Cabrillo Apartments & Yacht Club but also lived in ghetto ass Oxnard near Omar Ranch Market (big red barn). LOL I've also lived in Camarillo, Ventura, T.O. Newbury Park, Ojai, and even in S.B. I know the area well. And I got out as soon as I could which was recently.

BTW my favorite dive back in the day was Top Deck in P.H. when I used to work on the SDTS.

Get out while you still can......

Yeah I’m in the marina just up from those apartments. It can get sketchy here for sure. There was a shooting right in front of the Rud a few years back and one in my parking lot last year. Not cool. I thought living in a marina next to $1.5M+ homes woulda meant a nice neighborhood, and that’s true for the most part, but it’s usually shady when the sun goes down.
