How many light bars or pods do you have on your Jeep?

The A-pillars are KC 6" Slimlite LED. They don't put out as much light as the light bar, but they're spots, so they go just as far. Need to supplement with some floods for the up close stuff, so I'll probably get a 12" bar and a fairlead mount eventually.
Overall are you happy with the spot beam 6" Slims? I'm looking to replace my Hella 140 driving lights with them (I already have Ridgid SAE Fogs that work great at up close stuff)...

I know it’s probably a photo shopped picture but wiring lights like that would be a nightmare. Multiple switches, relays, 2/0 gage wire and multiple alternators and batteries. Lots of added weight and it makes an even bigger brick.
I just have Hella halogens and factory fog lights now on the TJ. I plan on adding KC Daylighters on the front window, 4” led floods on the bumper and in the rear each pair on a separate switch just like my YJ which works good for me. I run the dunes and the desert at 50+ mph so I need to visualize hazards in the distance. I would love to put on HIDs but can’t justify the money.
It was a video and I doubt it was CGI.

very. I like a traditional look which they don't really have with the multi-element LED configuration, but they look perfectly fine with the rock guards installed. Performance is great. I looked at a lot of comparison of these vs the more expensive LED gravity Pros and the pattern and performance appeared to be at least as good or better despite the lower price. I haven't seen them side by side in real life.

Stock fogs with yellow LEDs in them, plus a set of "offroad" lites purchased from a member here. Both work off the fog lite switch, engaging 4WD turns off the fogs and turns on the offroads.

Looks like they hold up well at altitude

One 20” KC LED light bar that I had on an
F-350 that I sold. I think it looks a little big on my TJ, but I’m getting used to it & I wasn’t about to just give it away when I sold the truck.
I like the extra light because we volunteer at a state park in the Texas hill country where there are a lot of deer & feral hogs on the road at night.

None, I don’t see the point. They either reflect off dust, blind the people I’m wheeling with, or/and generally are outshined by my cheap headlights.

I say that having a friend I regularly wheel with that has one at the front winch who says “they can come in handy” and I’ve only seen him turn it on once, then everyone else popped on the CB saying to turn it off.

Huh, that is actually a really interesting way to do it. Never thought of tying offroad lights to the transfer case. As long as you don’t need close up wide light of fogs, sounds like a good way to rig them.

Maybe you never noticed that your factory fogs turn off when you turn your brights on.
Although, there's an easy hack to prevent that.

No, I know all about that, just never thought about tying offroad lights to the same switch when going offroad. Obviously pretty easy to do using a 5 pin changeover relay and letting the tcase control the ground, just never thought of it.

Although yes allowing fogs on low or high beam might be a better use for most people and probably even me. Just thought the offroad 4wd idea was cool is all.

I don't think I would want the lights to go off and on based on 4WD selection. However, using the 4WD to enable a separate light switch would prevent them from accidentally being on while On Road.
Another trick is to use the lights as an enable for offroad lights. That way you won't accidentally turn them on (or leave them on) during the day.

Depends on how you wire it. My setup, the fogs do indeed turn off with hi-beams (as stock) - BUT - the offroads do not, they'll run with the main headlites on high or low. Oh, and there *is* a switch to turn them on/off!

Many different ways to do it for sure depending on how you want the operation. Tying to lights or 4wd as a disabler is a good idea too.

I run a 16" up front for now, because anything is better than the factory lights I have. Its hooked up to the fog light wiring, that I modified to stay on with high beams or low beams.
I also put a little single row led bar on the back as my reverse lights. This is a massive improvement out in the desert when there is no ambient light. both lights are 100% made in china, but they work great!
