    Just get a Johnny Joint for the other end. You won't find many on this forum that will suggest any other joint. IMO, a MC joint should work fine there. Not sure if you are saving much coin though.

    Just spit balling here, but maybe it has to do with keeping the upper and lower mounts equal within the center line of the axle. Drop only the lower mount and you are unequal with the center line of the axle tube?

    No. It still vibes above 65 mph. It is the best it's been with the rear pinion 4.5* lower than the DS.
