A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Are you going to end up running the spring spacer in the rear, or just the spacer in the front? Ideally I'd prefer to level mine with the rear but it seemed like shocks were your holdup on doing that.

It hasn't stalled out, but I have noticed a bit of rough idle at times. And sometimes if I'm on the freeway for an extended period of time it'll idle a little rough, but only if I've been running about 3000 rpm's for an hour or more and I come to a full stop. To me it seems like a bad o2 would...

PCM giveaway on WranglerFix not on Facebook

I have a question about what I think may be a PCM problem. I have the oxygen sensor code that I cannot get rid of no matter what sensor I put in it. I had a mechanic friend hook up to it, and the sensor in question always has the heater circuit at 100% power, whereas the others vary with...

I'm another that would prefer a way to enter that doesn't involve Facebook. Zuckerberg pissed me off one day and I deleted anything to do with him lol

Let's talk optimal build for 31" tires

Tell you what, we can trade Jeeps. Mine is driving great so you can take that break and do what you want to it. I feel pretty good about this swap, lemme know :ROFLMAO:

Let's talk optimal build for 31" tires

You wouldn't want the shock bottoming out before you hit the bump stop, I'd lean towards not including bump stop so that you save the shock on a hard bump. Basically you have that extra 1/2" past the bump stop to prevent any damage.

    Body lift prep

Another thing I had to do with my BL that not a lot of people mention is loosening the fuel filler neck hose (from the tank side) to stretch it out and make the filler neck line back up. I had to call the Jeep dealer and get a new rubber snubber under the grill, one came out fine and one tore in...

    1 1/4 BL

I hadn't taken that into account, I'm just spoiled down here in the south I guess but all my bolts came out lol

    1 1/4 BL

The other (better) option for the fan shroud not lining up is to get a motor mount lift. It'll line everything back up normally, but it will also help with your driveline angles and you get new motor mounts out of the deal. That's the route I went, just thought that was worth mentioning.

Towing my automatic TJ with a JLU and a 2/4 wheel dolly / trailer?

You could always leave it in gear to tow it like a story I read recently, just don't be surprised when your engine looks like his did

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Can't wait to see the final height once it's back on the ground. Doesn't matter since I can't get springs for mine, but I can dream 😂

    Soft Upper Door Seal Persuasion

The half doors I just picked up do the same thing. I adjusted the doors and it got a little bit better, but it still does it a little bit. I'm not sure what the fix is, but hopefully somebody else chimes in

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Anybody have a hookup on where to find the H&R 52107? I was reading they're having supply issues and I just got ready to order springs 🙃

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

Well I know to avoid their stuff now lol. That's a braze ring that didn't break down, happens all the time but a decent quality program would catch it. If the torches on the braze machine aren't set perfectly you'll have those kinds of issues

A lesson learned—keep it light and nimble!

I was a quality engineer at a company that manufactured AC lines, it was a shitty company and we had all sorts of problems with braze rings while I was there. If we were able to find these defects I'm amazed they made it to your shop. Is that a mopar part?

Control arms for 2.5-3” suspension lift

I'd imagine the thought there is a tummy tuck, which obviously adds some additional costs but is a great thing to do

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

I would recommend the MML with the 1.25" body lift, otherwise you'll have to modify the fan shroud. A tip for changing the MML: don't try to pull the cross bolt out on the motor mount first, loosen the mount from the frame first. I spent a solid hour trying to beat that cross bolt out. If you're...

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

With the 1" MML on mine with stock suspension (for now) my driveshaft was pointed perfectly straight at the axle, I'd recommend the MML and a Savvy 1.25" body lift. I mainly did it for a future tummy tuck, but it's a good upgrade for anybody imo

Where are people buying replacement OPDAs?

Just to replace the sensor I don't think you'll have to have it at TDC or any of that stuff. That being said, you might turn it over until TDC to be safe because I had a lot of issues to chase down when I put the OPDA in wrong. I thought it was a transmission issue but it turned out that was...

    Bestop twill top giant logo

There's not much to break on the sunrider in the trektop. It's a rod with a pin on the end of it. Personally I really enjoy the sunrider, but I don't believe bestop makes a bowless soft top without the sunrider
