Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

Did you mount it to the back side of the corner or the flange on the outside

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

So you will just plug the vent line?

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

No doubt that’s why I don’t want to go that route. I don’t think I can fit the factory style with the stretch and the flares. Like I mentioned I purchased the one Genright sells with there stretch corners that has the one edge removed. But it just looks like a cheap Kydex material. The picture...

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

I’m not liking this option that stays up under the fender or the cheap looking plastic insert for the stretch corners I already bought.

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

Thanks. I’m trying to decide on what filler to use. Hose I’m not too worried about being able to find. Just gotta figure out what to mount for the cap,or what to mount to the body.

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

So far it’s been ok but I’m with you on it probably not being a great long term solution for hose.

Fuel filler hose options when stretching and outboarding shocks. What have you done?

So what did you wind up going with. Since I’m now installing the new Aluminum armor blanks I’ve got to decide what to do this time around. I love the way we did it on my buddies build and it’s working fine so far. But looking for all options before I cut any openings. I got the Genright stretch...

Best order for installing new Armor for best fitment between the Sliders/Corners?

Yeah my tub especially. It’s pretty crushed under the current armor on the left corner already. I actually have two good Tj tubs sitting on pallets maybe I’ll swap it out one day.

Best order for installing new Armor for best fitment between the Sliders/Corners?

That was my thought too so I can get them square to the door opening and nice ant tight to the bottom but wanted to make sure.

Best order for installing new Armor for best fitment between the Sliders/Corners?

So as I’ve said in other posts I’m switching from steel to Aluminum armor and it’s the new generation of armor so the hose unfortunately are not aligned from old to new. The new Sliders and rear corners are supposed to fit nicely together behind the door. Is it best to try and mount them up all...

Proper hole cutting for mounting body armor nutserts

Are you saying to only use nutserts if you cannot get a nut on it from behind even if the instructions are calling for the nutserts? I’m fine doing it that way for sure. I’ve had plenty nutserts spin on me over the years on various projects.

Proper hole cutting for mounting body armor nutserts

I know I read a post a while back discussing ways to drill / cut holes in the tub sheet metal using I believe it was a spot weld cutter or something similar. It was used instead of a drill bit to get better holes for installing all the nutserts etc. Anyone know what I’m thinking of. Or do you...

Tire Decision In Absence of 35x12.50x15 MT/R

The MT Baja boss is on top of my list currently, I like the Bfg, Cooper also though.

Tire Decision In Absence of 35x12.50x15 MT/R

I know quite a few people that wheel the serious rocks around Colorado and Utah that are loving the Mickey Baja boss’s. I’m trying to decide what to go with in a 35x12.50-15 myself since I’m going back down in tire size on the Tj.

    Colorado Krew Hangout

I’d much rather have my old beat up Jeep then the money. I beat the hell out of mine too. But I’ve also sank a ton of time and money into it over the years. So a theft or a crazy wild fire would be devastating and the payout would at least fund a replacement toy. I gotta say it was nice when...
