    @flyinfish Any idea why 1/8" zerk uses NPT (1/8 - 27), but a 1/4" zerk uses UNF (1/4 - 28)? Just curious. Things that keep me up at night. :unsure:

    The fact that you were able to bend it back and drive on makes it an upgrade to the stock bar. Even high quality (high priced) ones will bend.

    When I was younger, I had a source of free NOS tires. I ran them knowing they were going to blow, and they did. Usually on the highway.

    I would suggest you consider a transmission cooler. Mine always starts to run hot when I hit the hills on 44. Maybe yours won't be so bad on stock tires.

    Dry rot or not, I wouldn't trust a 20 year old tire on the highway. :rolleyes:

    Probably since I bought it, 10 years ago. Pretty common upgrade (if you're replacing parts anyway); but like I said, it doesn't really change the ride.

    No difference really. Basically it's just a heavier (solid) tie rod. Lasts longer offroad and helps control larger tires.

    I get that they have a nice selection for comparison. What I meant was maybe an old school auto parts store might have someone that knows more than a Home Depot guy. :)

    Maybe shop for fittings at an Auto parts store instead of Home Depot? ;) Can't help you with the names, but if you're wanting to replace just match them up.
