More exotic goodness , The Superfast's 6.5 liter V-12 produces 789 hp @ 8500 rpm and 530 lb ft @ 7000 rpm ! That's 121.38 hp per liter , IF you could get that out of our injected 4.0 Rambler motor it would have 485.5 hp ! :LOL:

    Straight pipe exhaust

As well as any exhaust system under water , a small chambered muffler like BlueC suggested will work well also , they will just cost you a little more. Honestly I don't think water would hurt fiber glass in a muffler , but if water is your thing maybe go full snorkel intake and exhaust. Good...

    Straight pipe exhaust

I get what you're saying , If this is what you want to do I suggest you add a short glass pack muffler , ( like 12" long ) with at least a 2.5 " core and run a 2.5 " or 3" diameter exhaust system all the way to the rear of the Jeep. This should give you the sound you are after. Most folks will...

The second one for the win ! However in the seventies in Colorado you had to have the right rake AND the rear tires (meats) had to stick 4" outside the body. ;)

I get what your saying Wildman It would seem wrong to me to see a late model "hemi" in a 66 Vette , Of course there are "Gray" areas like a 327 sbc in a flat fender, or a nailhead or OHV Caddy in a 32 Ford. I love how hot rodding is all over the map.

I'm good with the sbc in just about anything , however I definitely draw a HARD line of putting a 352 FE in a 1st gen Camaro , just NO.

One thing I really appreciate about the Fox body stangs is they were one of the last hotrod able cars that were affordable. Even today a kid can get a Mustang and build the " 5.0 " and there are a sizable number of Foxes built with a " better idea " and have SBC or LS power for even more hp for...
