I'm not a welder, but my understanding is that if the parts are painted/treated beforehand, the welding process would melt it off.

The OPDA and PCM issues found on some '05-'06 models should not be the deciding factor.....they are both easy fixes. Especially since Wrangler Fix solved the PCM issue.

Rock Auto and WeRMopar both have the Mopar radiator for my '06 Auto (55037653AC). I replaced mine 25k miles ago. At $387, not sure I'm going to panic and run out and buy a spare to sit on the shelf for 5-7 years. I've got some frame repairs in my future that are more pressing. :(

I swear I saw somewhere that the kit has an inline fuse. I dig around to see if I can find the reference.

It seems to me that your Jeep was not wired for a hardtop from the factory, but a PO did add the MOPAR hardtop harness kit (no longer available). I assume that you also have the rear wiper switch and double pump washer bottle? I recall that the MOPAR harness used an inline fuse somewhere and...

Bad bulbs? Bad brake light switch? Bad turn signal relay?

Does the drum turn? If so, you shouldn't need to back the shoes off to remove the drum. Just use a big hammer or a drum puller. Edit: And of course, make sure the e-brake is off ;)

The Fel Pro oil pan gasket comes with some handy plastic temporary studs that hold the gasket in place while reinstalling the pan. Highly recommend.
