My concern is not that it’s going to low. I’m sorry I’m not explaining it well. It goes to 80. It stays at 80. But it drops to around 60 when moving. When I’m at a idea it goes back to 80. Which is all the way high.

Ok thanks. It’s not taking low. It’s reading 80, then when I’m moving it drops a little, but never low. I’m cornered it’s engine issues. I don’t have a manual gauge to check though and didn’t want to fork over 50+ dollars for nothing

I’ve never changed the oil sender unit so I assume this is factory. Are still thinking oil sending unit?

But would it make sense that it drops when accerating? I would think of bad sensor it would not read at all

Nope, changed the cylinder 4 spark plug, cleaned the spark plug wire. Cleaned the idle control valve, tps, and map sensor. Nothing yet has really changed anything. At first I cleaned the sensor with carb cleaner, then it drove worse, went back and cleaned with maf sensor cleaner and it’s a...
