I figured it out!!! So, in the end, with only 5 trips to the auto parts store, it turned out that all I needed was an ignition switch.... finally got my dash back together and took it for a test drive and everything works. than everyone for your helps!

I can recreate the sound while jiggling the key. Im definitely leaning to the ignition switch now
