    Loose steering

Everything I've circled here needs to be checked for any play/looseness. All castle nuts should have cotter pins. No "ball joint" should have an in or out play, nor make any clunking noises. You need to check these circled areas, whilst having someone manipulate the steering. Or record a video...

    Loose steering

Oh, check the top of your pitman arm. Loose castle nut, no cotter pin.

    Loose steering

3rd pic helps. Adjustment sleeves look all messed up to me. Drag link and tie rod end adjustments. Record a video of the front of your suspension similar to picture 3, turn the steering back and forth in different ways (quick, slow, aggressive, smooth). Watch/post the video. My guess is that...

Steering clunks / looseness / dead zone

Yeah I recentered my steering wheel recently. I'm pretty sure I secured the clamp in the neutral position at that time, but I'll readjust it and see if it continues to stray from neutral position for any reason.

Don't know where you're seeing binding? Maybe you're getting that impression based off the way I'm shaking the steering back and forth but nothing is binding that I know of. As far as the trackbar goes, it's solid as a rock. I have no death wobble or anything remotely close to the poor...

Yeah I agree that the way the washer mushrooming is a little odd. The trackbar did not come with instructions unfortunately. Looks like this guy didn't know how to install it for sure either, and put his washer in between the top tapered washer and the frame mount itself. I have this same...

Steering clunks / looseness / dead zone

Wow is that why the drag link end/stud doesnt seem straight coming into the pitman arm? I always wondered why it looked rolled forward almost. But never realized I had a dropped arm. I had the original lift installed in 2015 when I was a highschooler by some 3rd party, this must be one of the...

Steering clunks / looseness / dead zone

Hey guys, having some poor drivability symptoms specifically related to my steering. Everything feels relatively solid on straight roads, and the jeep drives straight. However, on roads with alot of divots or bumps things become more iffy. Basically, it almost feels like my steering is "flopping...

Rear Rusty's Off-Road track bar fitment issues

Try unlocking the trackbar and spinning that joint slightly, maybe you can get the angles right?

    Do I need shocks?

I'd recommend the ZJ tie rod as well, it's solid instead of hollow tube like the factory. Much thicker also.
