    Genrights ideology to suspension design

Yup, all very interesting stuff to learn for those willing to go beyond the typical Jeep build. Personally, I’m a bit weary coming off of just completing a couple car projects, so I’m very thankful to have the Savvy midarm with proven performance for an easy install.

Best gear ratio for Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear?

With your axles, the deepest gear ratio you can do is 5.13. With your auto transmission (42RLE), that is an ideal ratio for 33s. If you swapped in a dana 44 in front, you could run 5.38 gearing, which is typically used with 35s.

How are you calculating your static COG?

    Genrights ideology to suspension design

This was an interesting read, thanks for sharing. I’ve been curious about the differences in how people setup suspensions. There’s not a whole lot of detailed information about this online. And from what info is available, I frankly don’t know enough to tell right from wrong. In so far, I...

Jack of All Trades, Master of None: (PNW_LJ Build)

Some things I learned today: - 4” Currie springs and stock control arms isn’t the best idea. It was a quite a pain getting the axles and everything back in. - I put Rancho 5000x’s in the front, Skyjacker Black Maxes in the rear. Both brand new and appropriate lengths for my springs. Not too...

Jack of All Trades, Master of None: (PNW_LJ Build)

BAM, the “turdy trees” are on. Had the pleasure of putting on the lift with some buddies and then wheeling it immediately after.

Why you want a body lift

That is a pondering of a sleep-deprived TJ Noob.

Why you want a body lift

Nah, we’d rather waste 2 whole pages purposely misunderstanding your point and proving our intellectual superiority.

Why you want a body lift

I would agree. I suppose it conflicts with the philosophy of only “solving a problem you actually have”, But if I’m spending 3 grand building up a stock LP30; getting more driveshaft clearance, stronger R&P, and better resale value, for less than the cost of a diff fluid change, is a no...

Why you want a body lift

Also interesting to me is the little talk about diff clearance. If all TJ axles (when upgraded) are equally capable of running 35s, why aren’t we all switching to HP30s and Dana35s for the added ground clearance.

Absolutely, but most Jeeps are built for looks first. Unfortunately.

Rockers are already slightly bent! I just can’t seem to settle for any other option. Genright is fine, but at close to $2500 for sliders/corners that still need to be fixed, I can’t do it.

This fixes the “look” of a body lift without any of the work needed to do a frame tuck.

Nice, just ordered one. Hope my corners survive till Savvy gets its armor back in stock.

Can you share a picture of the underside and whether it wraps around the crossmember? How many mounting bolts are there total?
