    Colorado All4Fun July 2023

I have been to a few all4fun events. They are fun. Good way to get introduced to the trails if you dont have a group of friends to wheel with all the time. With that said we try to make a Colorado trip annually and we usually have just a few jeeps. That is more fun to me now. But, all4fun...

Upgrading to a Dana 30 with 4.10 gears to run 35s

It was not from a Sahara, if its a TJ axle it came from a 4 popper... but like the guys are telling you, no need to look for one.. regear your existing Dana 30. Listen to them, do 5.13s. Consider doing the work yourself, it is a good skillset to have.

Poly Performance tower cuts for front 11" remote reservoir Fox shocks

A big thanks to @mrblaine , I followed his directions and have both fronts installed with exactly 5.5" of up @ ride height. Took it for a test drive tonight and wow.. washboarded dirt roads at any sane speed are very inconsequential and speedbumps / railroad crossings are very controlled and...

Poly Performance tower cuts for front 11" remote reservoir Fox shocks

Thanks Paul, this gives me an idea, tomorrow (due to commitments today) I'm thinking using the pieces of the old shock tower that I have removed may be a slick way to transfer the required geometry to the poly tower. It will require me to reconstruct the puzzle a bit as the shock tower is...

Poly Performance tower cuts for front 11" remote reservoir Fox shocks

This is how I started the process (and possibly how I will get it complete) but I was getting nervous of screwing up the tower so I switched over to cardboard... have to take the family to the city so no progress today, however I have time... the snow is still flying in Iowa. I am so done with...

Poly Performance tower cuts for front 11" remote reservoir Fox shocks

Hey Guys, I got my rear 12" Fox RR shocks installed without issue last weekend but am a bit stumped with with one of the steps for the front. I have removed the factory shock mounts and have the lower mount tacked in place (with a best guess starting point). I have a dummy shock setup at the...

    Toughness personified

Thank you for the update, I was wondering but didn't want to bother as it doesn't really matter (my jeep is sleeping for the winter) :-) Looking forward to adding to the pile of upgrades in the corner!

Daily Driver, Go Where I Want To Build

Cool! the CE-W38007 doesn't seem to be readily available as a current part number but maybe I didn't know what to look for. Did you find some new old stock somewhere? Any concerns about spare parts availability? It was my understanding that Yukon bought the design from Warn and the Yukon...

Ordered mine... while not as often as some, the two times I've had to straighten mine were not enjoyable :)

Who in here likes to hunt?

My oldest finally filled his archery deer tag. He was stubborn that he wanted no assistance from dad this year so this buck is all his own. Both he and dad are quite proud! Mid 160's main frame 11pt that was 5+ years old judging by his tooth wear. The archery tags are filled at our house so...

Who in here likes to hunt?

Bow season was good to me this year. Filled both the farm tag and the regular buck tag in the same day. My oldest is still grinding out the rut and I am getting ready for ice fishing and predator hunting. I've been playing with my new thermal scope and scanner setup for the yotes... should keep...

Who in here likes to hunt?

Yes they are, and @AFF I agree, quite delicious ... our family eats about 6 of them per year :) :) They are actually enough of a nuisance here in the southern part of the state we are issued depredation tags for specific farms that increase the number that can be harvested over and above state...
