    TJ SE's

Hey @ChatGPT , is the SE version of the Wrangller TJ a waste of natural resources and offensive to offroading in general?

BMB (Black Magic Brakes) body lift kit available now!

I saw those. Nice price too. I can't make them for that. Also saw the Safety Thimble (need one of those) and the two different styles of hawse. (got one of those...)

Driveshaft protection for crossing big logs?

I hope that you noticed that the log rolled at one point. The odds of winding up looking like a crunched up ball of tinfoil 500' down some canyon with a tree on top of you would be pretty high over here on the wet side. Maybe build it like a Willamina mud bogger and put pipe guards like a log...

Not sure I want this promotion

So, @Squatch , are you outta there? Did all go well? Hopefully you have a good tale to tell for your last day / retirement... Edited to add: You'd look good driving that old Jeep Wagon. Just make sure to change oil in it first!

Not sure I want this promotion

LOL, so very few would ever get the reference that it would be worth it. Gooo, Squatch! You'll be fine, I bet. Once you relax and get into the flow, you'll love it.

TIA mini-strokes... be aware they can happen to anyone

lol, Vetwrap! For the win... Cheap, comes in all sorts of entertaining colors, and works great. A non-stick pad and vetwrap and you're good to go.

How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

I've got three choices... A generic small gas grill, a generic small gas griddle, and a Green Mountain Davy Crocket. The Green mountain is 12 volt, and very portable. Works great boondocking.

Bought an Oliver RV travel trailer

Oliver's rock! Airstream's are cool, but they are like TJ's... there is a lot of work involved to get them "just so". Oliver's seem to be "good to go" right out of the box. Keep us updated when you get it...

TIA mini-strokes... be aware they can happen to anyone

Clopidogrel and sporting clays / big bore rifles absolutely don't mix. After a day of shooting my .45 - 2.5" or several rounds of sporting clays my shoulder looks like someone beat me with a hammer. Getting old sucks balls.

2001 TJ 2.5 has no power

...and you may be going faster than you think. Putting 31's on an SE will throw the speedometer off by almost 10%. 33's will throw it off more, and you get the added bonus of making 5th gear almost worthless.

    Power Distribution Systems

Sounds right. As a side bar note: Use the appropriate wire gage on both the negative and positive sides of your charging circuit. Make them as short as possible. I'm losing 30% or more at the battery because of the wire gage that Airstream used to wire in my converter/charger.

TIA mini-strokes... be aware they can happen to anyone

Been there, done that, have the medications to prove it. Thanks for putting a spotlight on this. Guys don't do the medical thing as much or as often as we should. All the modern medicine in the world won't help a bit unless you go see the Doctor and tell him what's going on.

    Power Distribution Systems

Here is the folks that I deal with. No relationship other than I buy their stuff. https://www.currentconnected.com/ Browse around on the site. It's pretty cool. I use the 206 amp hour marine batteries without heater or bluetooth. Zero issues so far. My system has a Victron smart shunt that lets...
