What should my highway RPMs be at?

I generally keep it between 2000-3000 RPM. Engine sounds best there. As long as I'm not lugging the engine I'm ok with it. Mine is the 5-speed so I can choose whatever gear I need depending on the situation. I learned to drive stick without a tach, so I change gear based on engine sound. Tach is...

What should my highway RPMs be at?

32RH I believe has a 1:1 ratio in 3rd. With that you should be around 24 MPH per 1000 RPM, that would give you about 3300 RPM i@ 130 KPH

Hotheads Headliner / Sound Assassin Strips

So, I put in the HotHeads with the sound assassin a couple months ago. I put in the sound assassin and the velcro strips before the headliner, per manufacturers instructions. I left it there for a week before I installed the headliner itself. First, the good news. The sound assassin strips o...

Mopar thermostat alignment for weep hole

You'd have to define "good". Research "Spot Ratio" with reference to IR thermometers to get a better understanding of their accuracy.

    Low water pressure

It's really volume you're looking for (yes, I know everybody calls it pressure but it isn't). There reason it's high for a split second is that the pressure regulator has time to equalize pressure, so that when you open the faucet full pressure is there for a brief instant. Realistically, the...

    Low water pressure

Unlikely to have a corrosion problem. If it's that original, there's a fibre washer that may come apart. Have some pipe dope ("Rectorseal" or equivalent) and teflon tape available. You might need it. The good news is that if you have to replace the pressure regulator is its threaded on both sides.

    Understanding Tire Size and Gearing

The great thing about the grimmjeeper is that it allows you to change all the variables in the drivetrain. (except engine:oops:)

    That's a mass/momentum issue rather than a gearing issue.

    Understanding Tire Size and Gearing

Most people here use Thee Grim Jeeper, here's the link http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html Works if you actually measure the rolling diameter of your wheel/tire. Measure from center of tire to ground and multiply it by 2. This gives the actual rolling diameter. Manufacturers can differ in...

    Low water pressure

The device above the valve is a pressure regulator (which can also fail in a low flow rate) Undo the lock nut at the tag and turn the screw clockwise with a large screwdriver and see what happens. It may help alleviate the problem. There also may be debris in that too. Try the union too as...

    Low water pressure

It's unlikely that the sprinkler system is the problem. Shut off the ball valve to the sprinkler system, that'll isolate it. The only thing you touched was the gate valve to the house, that's most likely where your problem is. It's not unusual for the stem in the gate valve to break and the...

    Low water pressure

What type of valve did you shut off? Was it a globe valve, gate valve or ball valve? Also, are you on a private or public water system?

    Rusted undercarriage worth it?

Also add a couple thousand to go take a look at it. It'll be worth it.

Is a TJ with this sort of rust even worth further inspection?

Seems like a lot of rust for something located in UAE. Did it spend a lot of time on the beach?
