    DuncLJ's Big Bolt-On Bonanza

Yes, biggest difference is whether you want to tie into long tube headers or into stock exhaust. These are some of the choices I am looking forward to in this new build.

Those are definitely on the mod list. They should look and sound perfect. I'll just need to learn not to burn my calves getting in and out. 🥵🍻

    DuncLJ's Big Bolt-On Bonanza

While I am taking a hiatus from Jeeping, I decided to undertake a new project. I recently retired from the Military and Federal Govt. I rewarded myself with one of my dream cars. I got myself a 1969 Corvette StingRay with a 427 and a 4 speed. I will leave it mostly stock, but will upgrade the...

    DuncLJ's Big Bolt-On Bonanza

So this chapter is being closed out. The Jeep sold to another forum member, and is safe and sound in its new home in Texas. Buyer is a good guy, I hope he has a great time with it. I'll still be checking in around here. If I found the right TJ/LJ project, at the right time, I could be right...

How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

My wife got me a Terracotta pizza oven for Christmas. I finally got a chance to try it out. I've never used one before, so there will definitely be a learning (burning) curve. I went for the classic meat lovers for my Pizza and Mozzarella w/ Basil leaves for my wife's. I suck at rolling a good...

How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

I did a "Tri-sket last night. That is a Tri-tip done brisket style. I love a medium rare tri-tip as much as the next, but I tried it low and slow like a brisket. I found one with a nice thick fat cap on it and left it untrimmed. Smoked at 225 till it hit 160, then wrapped it tight in butcher...

I agree, I think I got it for $4.99 lb. I got a 5 pounder for today and bought another 7 pounder for Xmas dinner tomorrow.

We have 16 people coming over tonight, so i had to use beans as filler. Gotta make it stretch further. 🤣 I made a small batch, no beans. Stashed that away for myself. 🍻

Finished up my chili. Kidney, black, and pinto beans; lots of tomato, onions, garlic, peppers all thrown in the crock pot. Added the rib roast, some chorizo and a bottle of stout. Gonna let it simmer for a few hours, then dig in.

We just put that in 2 months ago, it's been great.

Who's decorated for Christmas this year 2022?

My wife goes a bit nuts on her decorating, but I don't mind. We host her whole family of about 20 people each year on Christmas Eve, so we like to make it look festive. I tend to do mainly the outside. A few lights in the front yard, but I like to focus on the backyard. We all spend way more...
