I think that something touched the hot exhaust manifold and ignited. Either that or an electrical fire. Came from the engine bay, but not sure why. I found out the hard way why you should always carry a fire extinguisher!

Thank you! I ordered the kit. Never installed a helicoil before, anything I should know? Or is it as easy as drill out the hole, thread the new hole, and insert the helicoil?
