What year did they change the material on the TJ? I have an 01 TJ, and I'm due for a new top. I'm wondering is the Bestop sail cloth is the same as what I have now, or is it's better, quieter, etc? Is it the same material Bestop uses for the Supertop NX.

I'm kinda leaning toward the machined aluminum or maybe a gray. I think you're right. On a darker color jeep, I'm not sure I'd like the black wheels. Everything is too dark. I don't know.

Are you asking the measurement of spring height at ride height, or spring height when out of the Jeep? The rear spring is 18" when not compressed. I'd have to measure it at ride height. I've considered bar pin eliminators to move the shock down a little bit. I don't have a problem with shocks...

Great question. I'm also in the same boat. Driving in the conditions you are suggesting, I might be concerned about the potential for shock fade. I'm wondering if a Fox reservoir shock might work well?

For those using MoRryde/Exogate, do you have any concerns using the OEM tire mount with a larger tire like 35".
