In the past there was a list at TJ Fest . Not sure if perhaps one should be started here for this year?

If you are wheeling alone, you're rarely someplace where someone else wouldn't come by within short order. Hopefully mostly you'd be with at least one other rig

Occasionally I'll carry an extra splash of fuel. Haven't ever needed it though. I carry some extra antifreeze, I just always have it on board along with various tools and such. Plenty of drinking water, lunch, snacks and a first aid kit are always on board too!

Jeeps are good. No sxs's, dirtbikes or quads. Also no dogs.

Doesn't seem like it's mentioned much on the Moab Trailfest threads, is anyone interested in wheeling Elephant Hill? I've done it twice and it's definitely one of the best trails I've experienced! For sure doing it again this year! Moderately difficult sections and spectacular scenery! A full...

    Utah Official TJ Fest 2024

I'm not super familiar with the area, however last year I had a buddy boondocking off of Willow Springs Road just north of town. Was a nice spot... seemed to be a popular place to camp and everyone seemed respectful of the others.

It's usually a pretty loose deal. Just keep in contact with those that have indicated they're going to be there. Arrange your adventures with whatever group that's hitting the trails you're interested in. Usually there's a couple of groups, each going to a different level of trail. We enjoyed...

Jeep Supershop in Indian River? I have no experience with them other than having stopped in to look around. Seemed to be fairly knowledgeable though.

    Utah TJ Fest for 2024

I'll be in Moab 4/25 thru 5/5 (maybe longer if I'm having fun). I'll join up randomly if there's a TJFest! Had fun wheeling with some of the participants last year 😁 Probably headed to Kanab and Sand Hollow after that ... haven't been there and have heard good things so gonna check it out!

BLM closing around 1/3rd of the trail miles near Moab

PLEASE continue to support those that are fighting this decision! NOTE that this is just the beginning as the BLM has a total of 11 Travel Management Plans that they are intending to revise.... Based on how this decision went, we stand to lose thousands of miles of roads and trails

Utah 300+ miles of Moab trails closed

Didn't see your thread, sorry. Not sorry though that there's more than one thread now about this topic and raising awareness to this ongoing issue. Damn, I've been involved in this stuff for a few years now and this is a SIGNIFICANT development. I hope that more people begin to get involved...

    Leaky Rear Pinion Yoke Seal

Awesome, thanks! The nut I removed is flanged. I believe the one I ordered is flanged as well. When reinstalling, just tighten to 180-200 ft-lbs? I've read that the turn resistance of the yoke should be measured and within a certain range as well?

    Utah TJ Fest for 2024

I've been going to Moab for the last few years. Always the last week of April to mid-May. Was able to join up with a few TJ Fest peeps and did a few fun trails with them. Checked Hell's Gate off my to-do bucket list! Planning to be there for three weeks next year during that same...

    Leaky Rear Pinion Yoke Seal

Replacing the seal and yoke on my Rubicon. When I took the nut off of the yoke, there was no washer? Manual shows a washer.... I've ordered a new nut (jeez you'd think those would be easier to find!), and having trouble finding the washer. Should I reassemble without the washer, or might...

Jeep had a ham radio in it at one point. There was an antenna mounted on the side of the jeep. That is an aluminum cover that is mounted where the antenna was.
