Looking for pics of 33X10.50R15 tires with 4” lifts

This is mine... Tires are on stock wheels that I stripped, wet sanded, polished and clear coated with the inserts painted black...

    33x10.5 tires versus 33x12.5 tires

Thanks! The silver is just polished aluminum with a clear coat to protect it... A week's worth of wet sanding and polishing!

Top right e12 bolt on transmission is stripped and will not turn

A lot of you guys defend the e torx bolt head and in a good location I'm sure they are totally fine fasteners. My issue with them (and Jeep engineers) is out of the entire vehicle, why in the world would you put oddball fasteners like these in one of the most difficult places to turn a wrench...

    33x10.5 tires versus 33x12.5 tires

Thanks! I polished the wheels then painted/clear coated them myself. I don't mind saying it was a pain in the ass but worth it in the end! Still have to do the spare as it's under a cover, but I'm waiting until I upgrade my rear bumper so I can match the tire size. The process was lengthy...

Top right e12 bolt on transmission is stripped and will not turn

You have my sympathy! The engineer's that called for those bolts in such an inaccessible location oughta be shot! My '02 TJ had the same thing... Breaker bar and multiple extensions couldn't break them, neither could a Ryobi battery impact! My final choice was air impact... Lowered the tranny...

How many of you have removed the rear seat and seatbelts?

Took mine out shortly after I got it 3 yes ago and wrapped it up to store. I learned years ago to never throw good OEM stuff away because you never know when you'll need it again. And you also never know if it'll even be available years after you've thrown it away! Been there, and done that!!😄

    33x10.5 tires versus 33x12.5 tires

I have 33x10.50x15's on stock wheels that have been polished and painted. They're a bit close to the coils in the rear but have never rubbed in the two years I've had them.

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

In the end I pulled the high beam cutout relay out of the fuse box and jumped the appropriate connection with a short peice of 12ga and two spade crimp connectors so when the fogs are on, they're on regardless of high beam status. I live in the country and the fog light police look the other...

What did you do to your TJ today?

33's... looking at a 39 tooth speedo gear... drives like a dream now! :)

    Would re-gearing provide better acceleration?

I live in the sierras with lots of hilly paved roads... put 33's on 6 mos ago and knew immediately that the original 3.73 gears had to go. today, I just got my jeep back from the axel builders (two things I wont touch in a vehicle... diffs, and auto trannys!) with brand new 4.56 gears and I love...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Re-geared from Factory 3.73 to 4.56! in the process discovered a seized u-joint on one end of the front axel... no wonder the steering was tweaky! now trying to figure out the right speedo drive gear!

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

Sorry everyone for the delay, had a family emergency that kept me off the net for almost a month!I Can't add too awfully much except to say that the fog light circuit is basically a stand alone and is not connected to anything else inside the MFS. if you remove the two wires from the MFS plug...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

Looked in the California vehicle code about fogs on with high beams... couldn't find anything prohibiting that combination other than a discussion about how high beams are useless in dense fog... a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Finished my conversion successfully yesterday... will be...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

So after a day of research (weather has been too crappy to be outside) it looks like the fogs simply run through a switch in the MFS with heavy contacts but a poorly designed support post that melts when the contacts get hot from the current draw. In the diagram, the relay is simply the high...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

Well, after I wrote that reply, I came to the same conclusion you did so am thinking my solution is for another year/model? I've also seen comments with regards to changing out the MFS, to "make sure and move the attached relay too"... so I'm thinking the actual fog relay is integrated into...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

it depends on which power wire you cut... according to what I have, there are at least four separate independently fused 12V supply wires going into that plug! Each feed a different system. The info I have is that pin's 13 & 14 (PK/LG & WT/OR) are only used for the fogs, with pin #13 being the...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

yes, am aware of the older configuration... that's what I want to revert to and get away from that lousey multifunction switch! Those are nothing but electrician's nightmares!

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

Yes, I do know the earlier models had the switch on the dash... found a supplier on ebay that sells OEM clones of those switches and have one on order ($18)... should be here later this week. Also found some tables showing the functionality of the multi switch with what's connected and what's...

Factory fog light switch conversion (multi switch to dash toggle)

Greetings all! I have a '02 wrangler sport with factory fog lights that have never worked since I purchased it some 2 years ago. when i investigated, I found the fuse to be missing so plugged one of the correct value in, and to my pleasant surprise, they came on! problem was, I couldn't shut...
