Do you have to break down the front differential to replace the axle seals on an 02 TJ?

    Clock Spring

The problem is they are back ordered and out of stock. At least the clock spring with cruise control. You can also get one up to 2001, but apparently it is different for 2002. I know, I tried to install it today. The hole around the steering column is bigger on the 2002. That is the only difference.

    Clock Spring

Thanks Jerry, I ordered one from Mopar a few weeks back. Within 48 hours, my money was refunded and was told they were on back order. Do you know if I installed a clock spring with out cruise control and the Jeep having cruise control, would it still work?

    P0455

Ok, I am going to share what I did to solve my PO455 code and I hope it helps someone. After replacing parts, to chase down this evap leak only to see the check engine light come back on after about 70 miles, I decided to smoke test it. I made my own smoke machine using this YouTube video...

Do you have to remove the airbag when taking off the dashboard?

Awesome. That is the response I was looking for. I really don’t want to mess with the airbag. Thank you.

Do you have to remove the airbag when taking off the dashboard?

So I guess my question is, when you take off the airbag panel, does the air bag just stay in place?

Do you have to remove the airbag when taking off the dashboard?

When taking out your dash on a 2002 TJ. Do you have to take out the airbag? We want to paint the dash. I know I need to take out fuses and disconnect the battery. If I do have to remove it, do I just have to put it back in? I’ve never dealt with airbags, so please excuse my ignorance.

Does anyone know where the A/C orifice tube is located on a 2002 TJ?

Does anyone on here know where the Orifice tube for the AC system is on a 2002 TJ, 4.0 liter goes? If possible could you share a picture of where it goes on the Jeep.

Would it be easier to change the A/C compressor while the fender is off?

Yea, I’m doing both at the same time. I figured I’d have a little more space if I removed the fender. If it’s on the passenger side, then there goes that idea. Ha! Thanks for the input.

Would it be easier to change the A/C compressor while the fender is off?

I’m looking to change my ac compressor on my 02 TJ with the 4.0 engine. I also have to swap out the driver side fender. Would it be easier to change the compressor while the fender is off?

Does anyone here know what this connector is for on my 2002 TJ?

Does anyone here know what this connector is for on my 2002 TJ? The wires are White with a pink tracer and the other is Blue with a white tracer. I found it hanging on the right side of the steering wheel, by the ignition. The Jeep is starting as it should.
