Any ideas what this little tube is for? I'm guessing it's some kind of vent. I'm reasonably sure I'm taking in water through it when going through deep water holes. I thought maybe it was connected to the drain under the cowl but I verified it is not. If it is a vent maybe it's missing...

I used my 32 oz ball peen on a solid cement block, they tapped right out no problems. Good luck!
