So, I replaced the PCM with a new PCM from wranglerfix, and Im still getting the same symptoms. Sending my jeep to the mechanic, I can figure it out. At least I have a backup PCM now.

The only thing left is to rebuild my tranny...god only knows if I ruined it by continuing driving my jeep in limp mode on the highway.

Looks like IM next in line for a wranglerfix PCM...I had the hard shift for awhile (thinking it was a jeep thing) but now Im getting the dreaded P-codes of death. P1684, P0714, P0884, P0218

Paul, You are on the right track. I just came back from the transmission shop thinking this time it might be the torque converter.... They ran transmission codes and here is what it spit out (keep in mind I never got a codes myself or engine light at all). Transmission Codes P1684 - Battery...

LOL, thats what I thought too, since it was really gusty that night, but then on the way back home there was no wind and I was left with just under 1/4 tank. Not red line though...lol

Just to let you know, I drive from Tulsa to Oklahoma City every sunday for work ... its about 110mile drive. I use to arrive in OKC with about 1/2 tank remaining...now I would be so lucky arriving...from a full tank in tulsa, to a gas light lit up on the cluster and gas gauge in the red! One...

Yeah, its definitely a new problem... I am very picky on maintaining my jeep since I love her so much. All the posts I have read, that have the same symptoms generally replaced their cats with reporting no more issues. I hope that will be my case.

Its kinda too late anyway... I have already ordered the primary and secondary flowmaster direct replacement cats and should be getting them in today or tomorrow. Here is a post of another guy, with the same exact symptoms that I am getting and once he replaced his cats...life was good...

I replace all 4 with NGK's as I read the thread on not using the Bosch.

I did replace my frame just recently during winter, and the exhaust cats could of been thrown around in the shop loosing the cores. :unsure:

I am having the same exact issue... driving down streets I feel I have no issues, but once im on the highway, the acceleration is sluggish and hard to keep the speed up. Flooring it at best getting 40mph... and the slightest road incline (seriously 1-2degrees) the OD kicks in at 3500-3800 RPMs...
