    EV Hummer Crab Walk

I really wish they still did rear wheel steering on full size trucks like they have done previously. The turning radius was amazing when I drove one.

What’s the general rebuild interval for Johnny Joints?

Yes my apologies I meant zerk. I’m almost positive if they are making noise they are dry or close to it. I’ve had the same bushings and ball on mine for over ten years where they are just worn enough to accept a couple shots of grease - breaking them in seems to help a lot.

What’s the general rebuild interval for Johnny Joints?

Sound usually means they need grease....did you see if they accept grease in the zero? If not I’d pull them apart regrease and reassemble - no need to rebuild if they are that new.

All of our forest service trucks here run Patagonias. They are an amazing on and off road tire. Pick up gravel like no other, but bite hard.

Luckily on the Federal side we are absolved from many of the local political debate when it come to management practices. We follow federal guidelines, which in Oregon are way more relaxed than state regs. I feel bad for the state fm, we were briefed his plan during joint ops and everyone on the...

You “could” say that having our funding cut for wild land firefighting by Trump was bad, but our president is in no way to blame for arson and lack of state forest management practices being followed through on. For those outside of Oregon, the state department of forestry was sued earlier this...

I sincerely apologize for not being out there with my broom 🤣 in all honesty it is much too expensive to clean millions of acres of forest land of downed fuel. Sadly fire is natural and the ecosystem actually requires it to happen to function correctly (we do controlled burning for that reason...

    Shotgun suggestions?

Home defense :) H&R 1871 Pardner Pump 12 GA 3” “this is a gun to be kept at the bedside, ready for behavior modification on bad people who want to go bump in the night.” I prefer the 92FS compact for self/home defense. But a shotgun is intimidating when heard or seen.

We harvest around 4 billion board feet of timber a year here in Oregon. We have 71,000 miles of National Forest roads - more than any other state in the US. Almost all of these roads are created and maintained using money from timber sales and logging operations. Do not get confused by those who...
