Savvy Under Armor or UCF belly up?

Thanks LJ! This helps a lot. I was wondering if there was enough room to mount the pumps on the crossmember so appreciate the confirmation. Looks like Savvy and use the JKS MM lifts 😁👍🏻

What did you do to your TJ today?

Yeah I have the coolant smell so will be doing this at some point. Which brand heater core did you use?

Savvy Under Armor or UCF belly up?

Looking at a tummy tuck… for the Jeep and had a few questions. The Jeep is a 2006 LJ Rubicon with NSG-370. I’ll be adding a BMB 1 1/4” body lift. Savvy and Undercover Fab Works are the two I am considering. Questions; 1) For the Savvy, do you have to relocate the locker pumps from the skid...

    Wire harness quality

My 2006 LJR wiring loom is just falling to pieces. My 99 TJ looked great but was sold last year. Appears at least the 2006 harness looms are trash. I’ve been replacing the the loom on the LJ with grey striped automotive grade loom as time permits.

    1997-2006 heater cores

Indeed would be great if someone can report back about longevity on the Brassworks core. More concerned about longevity than exact OEM heat output as I really don’t want to do the replacement more than once. Back when the core on my old TJ failed I replaced it with OEM as they still could be found.

    Suspension Suggestions

Don’t forget to look into upgrading to a big brake kit when moving up to 35” tires. Often overlooked until you really need to get on your brakes. Just my $.02

    Seat Bushings

Just ordered the Summit ones after the Amazon ones fell apart around a year after purchase. (Not sure which Amazon store they were from) Will report back after installing the ones from Summit.. Hopefully they last longer.

Question for the Michigan / Wisconsin / Illinois folks

Agree with the above having had a YJ,TJ and JK badly rust out. My LJR is from TX and rust free…. It will NOT be driven in the winter on salted roads. Fluid film,WD 40 appears to only slow down the process of torque boxes and inside the frame rotting out. Best to buy a winter beater car and...

    LJ Frame Swap

The problem with us rust belt jeepers is getting rusty bolts/nuts removed. I gave up on a frame and tub swap for my TJ as it was taking way too much time and effort removing all the rusty bolts Sold off the TJ for parts as well as a beautiful rust free tub and frame. And that’s how I wound up...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Took the LJR out for a drive with no top or doors and tunes cranked. Dr just told me this morning that I was ok to drive as I had suffered a heart attack over six weeks ago and had to have emergency open heart surgery. I was very lucky and happy to be back with the Jeep community. Had plans on a...
