    OEM trac bars and shocks

I have the OEM front and rear track bar in good condition as well as a front and rear set of good condition unknown brand/model shocks from a 97 Sahara TJ. Just pay the shipping and you can have everything.

    Door Handle Lock Problem

I had similar issues with mine...was actually locked out. Took latches completely out cleaned old sticky/dirty grease residue thoroughly and used dry-lube to correct. The trick is if you can get inside and pull and release the inside door handle a few times (let it snap back) that generally...

    Is this fuel tank fixable?

Is there a difference in fit for the earlier gas tank skid? I have a 97 Sahara and need to replace the skid. The ones I see available state fitting a 97-06 so wanted to confirm. Thanks!

    02 Wrangler Fuel Tank Upgrade?

Don't mean to hijack, but on the subject of TJ fuel tanks, can someone tell me if the stock/OEM tank is metal/steel or plastic? I noticed my tank is plastic and was curious if it has been replaced. Thank you!

    Rear track bar with SYE?

Thanks again for the information from everyone. I finally got the track bar "released" from the drivers side relocation bracket. It was definitely binding with the non-angled bracket and stock bar with a 3-4" lift. Apparently the PO added a SYE and DCDS but left the stock bar. Between seized...

    Rear track bar with SYE?

Thanks for explaining! Looks like I am ordering at least an angled bracket and likely a rear adjustable trackbar to go with it. Any recommendations for a budget rear adjustable trackbar? I had ordered Core4x4 adjustable control arms and might just get the matching trackbar if the price is...

    Rear track bar with SYE?

Still confused on bracket and bar choices. This JKS bar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005TTZOU8/?tag=wranglerorg-20 shows a picture with a non-angled relocation bracket which is what I already have. Do I need the angled bracket as well or does is the bar bent to eliminate the need? Would like...

    Rear track bar with SYE?

Thanks for the quick replies. Couple of questions- Do I still need the angled relocation bracket since I have an SYE and adjustable control arms? I thought I could purchase the correct type of adjustable rear track arm and use the original (or existing relocation) mount points? If so can...

    Rear track bar with SYE?

That might help explain what I am seeing. I assume there should not normally be front/back tension on rear track bar? I had taken the bolt out but it seems wedged in the bracket. Before I tried prying it out I wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly. If I need a better picture(s) I...

    Rear track bar with SYE?

Can someone confirm if I need to change my rear track bar with approximately a 4" lift and SYE? Apparently I have a stock (angled?) track bar on a relocation bracket. I'm installing adjustable control arms and it looks like the rear track is binding and will hit/rub the gas tank. I will try...

Looking to replace / upgrade Rough Country lift

Also ...are the following OEM jounce bumpers or aftermarket? They do not seem like they would compress. If they do not compress maybe I need to remeasure/confirm what I have done as far as lower bumpstops. Will need to confirm the same in the rear.

Looking to replace / upgrade Rough Country lift

I've cleaned up the front suspension a bit. I "centered" both springs as one was apparently not in the perch stop correctly. I also added lower bumpstops and replaced with recommended Rancho 2-3" lift shocks. I'm curious if someone might be able to confirm a method for determining my actual...

Looking to replace / upgrade Rough Country lift

Would like comments/questions from the following front suspension photos. I apparently have 21" uncompressed front springs using a 2" spacer and two additional 3/4" isolators. I am guessing maybe the additional isolator could have been used with the front bumper and winch combo for leveling...

Suggestions on removing a stuck control arm bolt?

Got that SOB! :D Happen to find something called "Freeze Off" buried on my shelf. I didn't remember having it and gave it a shot. Not sure if it "froze" the bolt but I was able to actually snap it off on my last ditch effort before getting the saw. After snapping it off was able to punch...

Suggestions on removing a stuck control arm bolt?

Thanks for all the information and tips. I am replacing the stock control arms with adjustable so nothing needs to be reused including the cam bolts. I already have the rear control arm bolt out so there should not be any pressure or binding on the front bolt. I think the bolt might be...

Suggestions on removing a stuck control arm bolt?

Yikes! I will certainly be wearing eye protection. I also had a similar issue with a skid plate bolt and cut through it carefully with a metal blade. Will the cam bolt or bushing require a special blade for cutting through the bushing or bolt? I used a high quality metal blade with the skid...

Suggestions on removing a stuck control arm bolt?

I have a stuck front lower control arm bolt. Cannot break free. Would an option be to carefully cut with a sawzall right inside of both mount tabs? Open to suggestions.

    Front axle u-joint pictures

Still learning the ins/outs of my TJ and noticed some rub marks on front axle u-joints tonight. Are the marks normal wear or a sign that u-joints or something else might be going bad? Plan to look closer if there is play and whatnot when I have the chance.

Upgrading the sound system on your Jeep Wrangler TJ

Can someone provide clarification specifically for dash speaker options? Hoping for a relatively clean install without a lot of cutting/modification needed. Are specific adapters needed to fit a 5.25 in the stock locations? Also was an inexpensive pod available for the dash? Thanks! EDIT--...
