Hey Jeep Lovers, Replacing my front seats due to them rusting to crap and I have a couple question I wonder could be answered. The pictures, one is the tilt/ slide forward base (which I'm considering media blasting, painting and reusing). The other pic is the seat bottom, springs rusted...

Looks awesome! I love that bedrug/tred product. I have to choose to replace my seats instead of the floor coverings... pressure washer cleaned the original carpets pretty well though!

Pics with results... getting done one of these days! Those are the quadratec floor liners in the front and the rivot their logo on the bottom! A rust spot waiting to happen. I would think they should know better and use adhesive!

Yes but they are broken and had to cut out the nut from the body.... it was the 10mm bolt holding the seat to the floor.

This makes me sad! We need and emergency alert buzzer and a jeep distress signal (kind of like a batman call) for cases like this!

Good to know re: those Bosch O2 sensors. Nice video too on added leverage with 2nd wrench. However that added torque will easily break bolts as I found when removing my seats last week

Noisey as crap too! Driving it home for the first time is hopefully to only time I will ever use them. I want the fg sliders for my halfdoors... probably my cheapest route to get something close to full doors!

So the answer is, it is a frame for the half doors and when the soft top is on? So are the surrounds an alternative to the wire frames for the half doors?

Are they basically upper frames for the factory half door? Will I need door surrounds for my half doors if I find/add the fiberglass upper with the slider windows? Trying to come up with my best configuration, considering I have the 98 sport tj with a hartop and half doors. Thanks in advance!

Maybe but I cannot say for certain. An old man had it and if it was raised it was by the people who I bought it from. I'm the 3rd owner and those I bought it from must have started a project and never finished. Did they come from the factory with rancho shocks?

Yeah I have the hardtop but I took it off and the jeep is parked in my garage for this winter while I do some work to it. I'm hesitating to drive it just yet with salt and the brine they put on the road here... drives me crazy what it does to my cars and pickups. Yet the state continues using it!

Thanks Yeah I love the color. I hope it will do the job like a silver color.... had a silver pickup and it never looked dirty!
