He didn't try any up selling. A rare honest mechanic who has worked on my family's cars for 15-20 years by now. Unfortunately I just checked and the leak is still there so might by the seal after all.

Went all over my parking lot's floor lol. Took it to my mechanic yesterday thinking the rear seal needed to be replaced but he said the pan was loose and tightened it up for free. I'll go check in a bit and see if there are any new puddles this morning.

Put in a new IAC and PCV Elbow/Grommet in hopes of fixing a stalling problem but it is still happening. Also replaced the AC blower resistor to get the AC working at all speeds.

I'm having similar problems so I feel your pain. I'm not an expert but I read that stalling could be related to the throttle cable so I did an easy adjustment today. It didn't fix the stalling but it fixed a hard shift between one of the gears. Worth a shot considering how easy it is. Also...

Adjusted the throttle cable and fixed a rough shift I was having between 2nd and 3rd. It was a little loose.

No stall today but it came damn near close a few times. After going a few feet to my parking lot stop sign it went back into neutral and drive wasn't engaging when I was trying to get going. A couple seconds later it engaged on its own. Trans problems?

Does anyone know what that loose cable is for? I see photos of it attached to the throttle body like the other 2. Could this be causing the problem?

About 55 degrees here in Miami this morning and it stalled going from reverse to drive when I was backing out. Right when I switched to drive the RPMs just tanked to 0. Any ideas?

Did you ever do the power brake booster fix? I have the same exact issue. Cleaned the IAC and throttle body and still stalling.
