I have a 2000 TJ with a 5.9L from a 2000 Durango both are auto trans. I am using my TC from the TJ witch is a np231J. However I noticed the input shaft is like a 1/2" longer than the Dodge np242D. Will the input shaft from the 242D work in the 231J? Or do I need to buy a something different? Any...

I got my engine in and wiring is 99.9% done. Now I am trying to connect the trans to the stock skid plate. I have an auto trans and a SYE in my TC. Any ideas on where to/How to bolt the trans to the skid plate? Maybe I am overthinking this?

Now it's off to more of the mechanical stuff. The engine is in kinda. I am starting to mount the skid plate.

Yes just got it all wired up yesterday. I did have to add a solenoid, It finally started to make sense to me. Just a few brain farts.

Ok I am at the wiring point. Having trouble with the 8 wire Transmission Solenoid Assembly, Not 100% sure where all the wires go? I am going from an auto trans toan auto trans. like the # 7 wire I think goes to #11 spot on the TJ harness PCM C2 but there is a wire in that spot already?

I am doing a 5.9L swap right now. Just sat the engine in yesterday. Looks like it belonged there all the time. I'm almost done with the wiring. Kind of hung up on transferring the auto trans wires over. Good luck and have fun.
