Take the shock off and see if the exposed shaft more than doubles when it fully extends. If it does, you might be getting a harsher ride because of where the valve is riding in the tube. Even if the bump stop catches it before it bottoms out. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

When you go to remove shocks, if you can, remove just the bottom bolt first. See if the shock rod extends 4" or more beyond the resting hight when it's sitting on springs. If you can get at least 4" down and 4" up, your good. If not that might be where the ride problem is. Sent from my...

You might be right for your TJ, but the kit covers YJs, CJs, and TJs. If you use a drop pitman on any jeep, it is my understanding that you need a TB relocation bracket. Again, if you don't need or want a drop pitman, don't buy one. If one will mess up your jeep, certainly don't buy one. But...
